# What's new in HolidayHero: August 2026

### Leave notes on a conversation the guest never sees

Until now, anything typed into a conversation went to the guest. There was no way to jot down context for a teammate, or for the AI to hand off a request it could not complete without guessing.

The inbox now supports internal notes: a separate message type that is never shown to the guest, never delivered to any channel, and does not affect guest facing read state. Switch the composer from Reply to Internal note to add one, formatted with bold text and bullet points. When the AI assistant gets a request it should not act on itself, such as a guest with a direct booking asking to change dates, it writes a note summarising what the guest wants and hands the conversation to a person instead of promising anything.

A new note pins itself above the thread so it is the first thing you see. Once you have read it and hidden it, it stays hidden the next time you open that conversation, on any device, though a teammate who has not seen it yet still gets the same prompt.

### Filter the inbox by channel and by replies

Finding a conversation on a specific channel meant scanning the whole list regardless of status.

Two filters now sit above the Pending, Follow-up and Resolved tabs: one for the channel (email, SMS, WhatsApp, guest app and so on), one for whether that channel accepts guest replies at all. The tab counts follow whatever you have filtered to, and a filtered view lives in the page's link, so you can bookmark it or send it to a teammate.

### Integrations

- **StayNTouch.** Reservations now carry the booking's real source. HolidayHero learns each property's origin codes automatically as bookings sync in, and you map them to a source from Settings. Room rate now syncs too, so booking value shows up correctly in reporting.
