# What's new in HolidayHero: mid-September 2026

> Message templates can now check what's on a guest's itinerary or where a booking came from before they send, and WhatsApp auto-replies can carry your own wording instead of one fixed message for every property.

### Two new ways to filter your message templates

Until now a template could only look at dates, check-in status, guest count or guest group. It had no way to react to what is actually on the stay, or to where the booking came from.

You can now gate a template on what is on the guest's itinerary: skip the breakfast upsell for guests who already have breakfast, or send the parking code and directions only to guests who booked parking. You can also gate a template on reservation source, so a message goes only to OTA bookings, or only to direct ones.

Both show up alongside your existing conditions when you edit a template.

### WhatsApp auto-reply, now in your own words

Every property sent guests the same fixed reply on WhatsApp outside the times you actually respond, word for word, with only your brand name swapped in.

You can now write your own auto-reply text per workspace and translate it into your guests' languages. Leave it as is and nothing changes, you keep today's default message.

Open your WhatsApp channel settings to add your own wording.

### Also in this release

- Translation progress bars on your listings and guidebooks now update right away when a translation arrives through import, AI translation or the API, instead of sitting stale for up to an hour.
