HolidayHero vs Enso Connect
Enso Connect is a capable AI guest-experience tool built for vacation rentals and boutique hotels. HolidayHero runs the whole stay across hotels, groups, parks, hostels and rentals, on any PMS, with published pricing, a lower upsell fee, direct-to-supplier inquiries, and a guest app that goes deeper: a real itinerary, per-brand domains, and a smart-home layer beyond locks.

If you're weighing Enso Connect against HolidayHero, you're really choosing between a tool built for one segment and a platform built for the whole stay. Here's the honest version.
Credit where it's due
Enso Connect is a genuinely capable product. Its AI is mature (Copilot and Autopilot, a knowledge base, policies, and a sandbox to coach it), and it has a real track record driving upsell revenue for short-term-rental operators. If your world is purely vacation rentals and the one thing you want is autonomous messaging, Enso is a credible choice. That much is fair to say up front.
Why HolidayHero
The difference is scope. Enso is built specifically for vacation rentals and boutique hotels. HolidayHero is built for the whole stay and for every kind of operator: hotels, hotel groups, holiday parks, hostels, aparthotels and rentals. It runs beside whatever PMS you already use, hotel systems like Mews, Clock and RoomRaccoon as readily as rental ones. If you run anything beyond short-term rentals, Enso's focus becomes a ceiling. HolidayHero doesn't have one.
It also runs deeper than the guest inbox. The guest app is a genuine trip-planner: guests and operators build a shared in-app itinerary, the app adapts stage by stage as the stay progresses, and operators can shape their own guest-app sections, run multiple brands each on its own domain, and push local events and experiences to guests. Behind it sits the back office a messaging-first tool leaves out: an operator's cockpit, a task system, guest-registration filing, a full smart-home layer (not just locks, but climate, energy, sensors and Matter devices), and a real 0–100 guest-engagement score built on the guest data the whole platform runs on. Charges post straight to the PMS folio, and PMS and OTA message threads both land in one inbox. There are also two ways to build on it: a Headless Guest App, so you can run the whole guest experience inside your own app or site with HolidayHero as the engine, and an integration API for system-to-system work like wiring in your own message channels.
Revenue is wired differently, too. Both platforms sell upsells well, but HolidayHero routes guest inquiries directly to your own suppliers who fulfil them, with no front desk relaying in the middle, and splits the commission three ways automatically. Enso's equivalent is a partner-managed experiences marketplace. And it's simply easier to buy: HolidayHero publishes per-unit pricing from €6.50/unit/month and lets you start yourself, where Enso lists no public price and runs a quote. On the upsell take itself, HolidayHero's fee is 3% against Enso's own published 5% (capped $25), so you keep more of what you earn. HolidayHero is also EU-native, built in Amsterdam with EU data residency.
Feature by feature
Give Enso its due: on the guest-facing essentials the two are close. Unified inbox across OTA, WhatsApp, SMS and email, a branded guest app, digital guidebooks, contactless check-in with ID verification, smart-lock access, sentiment analysis and no-code automations are strong on both sides, and Enso's messaging AI is excellent. Where HolidayHero pulls ahead is the surface around that core: the in-app itinerary, custom guest-app sections, per-brand custom domains, calendar events, direct-to-supplier inquiries, the smart-home layer, folio posting, PMS-inbox sync, the composite engagement score, the headless guest app, the integration API, published self-serve pricing and the lower upsell fee, plus a platform that fits hotels and parks as naturally as rentals.
Which fits you
If you run only vacation rentals and want nothing beyond guest messaging and upsells, Enso Connect is a fine pick and a strong product in that lane. But if you run hotels, parks, hostels or a mixed portfolio, or you want the whole stay covered (a real itinerary, your own suppliers, the back office, and pricing you can read and start today), HolidayHero is the platform built for it.
