What's new in HolidayHero: early October 2026
Message templates can now be sent or held back based on how many nights a guest is staying, and the template page opens much faster. You can also export your guest list, and guest emails now come from your brand's name.

Message templates that know how long the guest is staying
A welcome message written for a weekend guest reads oddly to someone who has booked two weeks. Until now the only way around that was to build separate templates and keep track of them by hand.
Message templates now have a length of stay condition. Pick an operator (equals, not equals, less than, greater than, at least, at most, between or not between), enter the number of nights, and the template only goes out to reservations that match. Nights are counted between the check-in and check-out dates in the listing's own time zone, and if a PMS changes the dates of a booking, pending templates are re-checked automatically.
The template page itself also opens faster. It used to load every experience, amenity, guidebook and calendar event in your workspace before it showed anything, which was noticeable in larger workspaces. Those lists now load only when you open the rule that needs them, and stay fresh without waiting for a timer to expire.
Export your guest list
Getting your guests out of HolidayHero meant asking us. From the App Users page you can now request an export with first name, last name, email and phone number. It is prepared in the background and emailed to you with a private link, the same way reservation and check-in exports work. Guests who have been deleted are not included, and you need read access to users to see the action.
Guest emails now come from your brand
Payment receipts, inquiry confirmations, invitations and unread message notifications used to arrive with HolidayHero as the sender name. A guest who booked with you saw our name in their inbox, and the receipt ended with our copyright line.
These emails now use your brand's name as the sender, and the receipt no longer carries our copyright. Message template emails already used their own sender name, so they are unchanged. Sign-in codes and account deletion emails still come from HolidayHero, because they have no brand attached.
Translations that sound like your brand
Automatic translations used to be correct but neutral, so a playful brand and a formal one read the same in every language. Automatic translations can now take your brand's tone of voice into account. It is a setting, so you decide whether your translations follow it.
Integrations
- Mews. Experiences that need your approval are no longer charged to the guest's room the moment they confirm the order. The charge is now posted to the Mews bill when you approve the inquiry, and nothing is posted if you decline it. Worth a quick look at any approval-gated experiences you have connected to add-to-bill.
- LodgePilot. Reservations now arrive with their booking channel (website, Airbnb, Booking.com and others) and the OTA reservation number where LodgePilot provides one. Older bookings may still lack the number, because LodgePilot did not record it at the time.
- Sciener. On locks without a gateway, guests staying on the same dates at the same lock could be given the same door code. Each reservation now gets its own code.
Under the hood
Stability improvements across message templates, guest emails, smart locks and PMS sync.
